first_img Brad James October 14, 2019 /Sports News – Local Snow College Men’s and Women’s Soccer Lose To SLCC This Weekend Tags: Snow soccer FacebookTwitterLinkedInEmailTAYLORSVILLE, Utah-The Snow College men’s soccer team lost to No. 4 Salt Lake Community College 1-0 Saturday.With the win SLCC claimed their second straight Scenic West Athletic Conference title.The Badgers’ defense repelled multiple Bruins attacks, until the 74th minute when SLCC sophomore Daniel Mulholland scored the match’s only goal.Snow goalkeeper Jason Myers kept the game from getting out of hand recording 5 saves in the loss. Snow finished with 6 shots in the match, not enough to get one passed Bruins goalkeeper Isaac Roy.The Badgers will play against Utah State University Eastern on October 17th at 1:00 pm at home.Women’s MatchTAYLORSVILLE, Utah-The Snow College women’s soccer team fell just shy of earning a Scenic West Athletic Conference title, losing to the defending conference champion Salt Lake Community College Bruins 1-0.After a foul was rewarded to SLCC just outside the box, Bruins sophomore Baylie Saunders scored on a free kick in the 27th minute for the sole goal of the match. The Badgers were out-shot 8-4 and only amassed two shots off of the net.Despite conceding a goal, Badgers goalkeeper Hailey Hillock recorded five saves in defeat.The Badgers face Utah State University Eastern on October 17th at 3 pm at home.
