The Costa Rican ‘keeper was his country’s hero on a number of occasions and rightly features in this top ten. 1. James Rodriguez – Colombia – Average rating 83.84 – In the eyes of many James Rodriguez has been the star of the tournament. His six goals is likely to see him crowned top scorer, while he is among the favourites to win the player of the tournament award. 6. Arjen Robben – Netherlands – Average rating 80.87 – Click the arrow to find out who is number one – The leading light of the Netherlands, Arjen Robben played a huge role in dragging his country to the semi finals. Now seen as a senior figure in the Dutch camp, Robben has undoubtedly been one of the stars of the World Cup. 7.
